An instrumental song so this is an entry about a melody. Every time I listen to this song I have a picture of a small child in my mind. A child who had lost his parents and who is alone.
Song about someone who lost a beloved person and doesn't want to believe that he or she is really gone.
I chose this deviation because of this text passage: "I will stay forever here with you, my love"!
Well... this song is complicated. I don't know exactly about what this song is but I think - because of the text passage "Which of us do you love." - that it's about someone who is unsure if his boy- or girlfriend really loves him or her.
But this deviation isn't about this text passage but about the first verse in which it is said that on one side of the mirror there's the body of this person and on the other side there's the soul of him or her.
I think most of you know this song. For those who don't: It's about a guy that kills a woman. The song explains how they meet, what their live together is like and why she is called the Wild Rose - because he kills her at a river where many wild roses grow.
This song - it's one of my favourites - is about a sailor. As he sails over the sea he recognises that he won't survive this journey because of a big storm. And the song is also about a lady who plays a violin and I think she is the one who is responsible for the death of the sailor.
In my mind this lady is a mermaid and that's why I added AutumnsGoddess' deviation to this list.
A song about a couple that's separate. One sailed away, the other stayed at home. The one who sailed away writes a letter or speaks in another way with the one who stayed at home. He speaks about their past and he says that he or she should sail away, too.
This deviation is connected with that song because the lighthouse could be the one that led the person who sailed away.
A song about a person that tells another one that he used him. He always did things just to hurt him or her. But he stops doing this because he had a dream in which he died in a fire and the only one who could help him was the person he used all the time.
And this deviation reminds me of this song because it could be the graveyard where he was buried after he died in the fire.
It's hard to summarise the lyrics. The song is about a person who's not under his own control. He has to do what a crow wants him to do. He has to go to places where the crow wants him to be. So the song's about controlled people and what they want.
There's a text passage that express that the crow forces the person to travel even in space. And this deviation could be one place where this person had to go...
It's about a man who lives and works in a lighthouse. He is lonely and he always stays away from the crowd. But one day, it's New Year's Eve, he goes into the town where he meets a woman. They spend the whole night together, fall in love with each other and the woman conceives. The next day he sleeps during the day but he doesn't awake when the sun sets. So it's at dead of the night when he awakes and notices that the guide light isn't shining. He hopes that the moonlight was bright enough but it's too late because the ship White Pearl sunk after crashing with a Coastal reef. And so the man is accused.
The deviation reminds me of this song because the ship could be the White Pearl.
It's either about a schizophrenic person or about two persons who are completely different. Most of the song is about the difference between these two persons - one gives up easily, they have a different wish at heart, but the minor part is about the fact that these two persons are connected with each other and that they need each other ("I'm not scared to die, as long as I'm with you").
I think I don't need to explain why I chose this deviation.
A song about someone who plays a role. He pretends to be a good person but in real he's a bad guy (expressed by a bad angel).
The angel in this deviation could be one of the good angels that are led to the bad one by a person that is captured.
I think it's about war and about soldiers who have to leave their families.

(Hey, I found the idea in your journal pretty interesting, mind if I use it in mine?)
